Eurostar from Paris to London takes 2.5 to 3 hours. Individual fares and timetables at:

www.eurostar.com

Paris to Brussels is about 1.5 hours by Thalys:

Paris to Geneva is about 3.5 to 4 hours:

Practical? That%26#39;s up to you...

For a mutli-city, multi-day travel itinerary (usually one-way fares) the Eurail pass products are usually your best deal.

You cna check train schedules between Paris and each of those individual cities through the SNCF (French National Railways) web site at--

You can also check inter-city schedules through other national realways sites. RailEurope offers schedules on their site...but it%26#39;s usually a good idea to confirm that you%26#39;ve gotten the complete story through the individual railway sites. One of the best inter-European railway web sites (at least for northern Europe) is the German DB-Die Bahn site--

Thanks Irish and KDK. I was wondering if one uses Paris as a home base for day trips to London, Brussels (both are 2.5 and 1.5 hrs away I believe) and especially to Switzerland (which would be a bit long trip), would there be enough time left over from the travelling to have a quick visit? I%26#39;m not talking about seeing everything there is to see but just to see a few of the main touristy stuff before heading back to Paris. Thanks.
