Eze Village

I was wondering what the easiest way to get to Eze Village is. We have made dinner reservations for during our honeymoon.

The train doesn%26#39;t go high enough, although maybe you can taxi onward. Convenient by bus, although you may want to check their online schedules to see how late they run.

What a gorgeous place for a honeymoon dinner! We stayed at Chateau D%26#39;Or (something like that) several years ago. It was the highlight of our stay in the Riviera.

From Nice, take the coastal road to Eze sur Mer (past Villefranche sur Mer) then look for the high road and take that. Can%26#39;t remember the exact name, but there is the low road (coastal), middle road and high road. Only the high road winds up to Eze Village. Definitely a car or taxi ride.

The view is spectacular. Make sure you spend the night (or two or three!).

Assuming you are coming from Nice and travelling by car, the road snavaro means is the one called the Moyenne Corniche, also (officially) known as the N7. Just follow the signs from the center of Nice to the N7, and Eze is about 10km out of Nice

But for a more specific route go to www.viamichelin.com and you can put in your actual departure and destination addresses and get door-to-door directions.

Eze is indeed a magical place. Try to get there early enough to stroll around a bit before your dinner while it is still daylight.

Have a great honeymoon - and an even better marriage!
