Advice, sil vous plat, on 5 hotels in the 6th

Bon jour -

My wife and I are having a hard time choosing from among these 5 hotels in the 6th - La Perle, St Paul, Fleurie, Saint Germain des Pres and Dauphine St Germain.

Can any former guests or local residents shed any more light on these properties - we have read all the reviews - both here and elsewhere - just looking for some insider information to help us make the decision.

Merci!

I stayed at the Fleurie and I visited it again 2 weeks ago. It is a small, 3-star hotel on Rue St. Gregorie de Tours right off Blvd. St Germain. The location is very good.

Here is their website: http://www.fleurie-hotel-paris.com/

I stayed on the top floor and although the room was small, it was clean, quiet, and well-decorated. I found the staff to be helpful, they shipped back some posters that I mistakenly left in the hotel. If I were going to stay at a 3-star again, I would strongly consider this hotel.

I recently stayed in Hotel Saint Paul, 3 star hotel located in Rue Monsieur le Prince and was really happy of the stay. The hotel was very clean and meet all my expectations in terms of location. It is an hotel that is in a very lively area but remains very quiet because it is in a small street...so that%26#39;s great to sleep well!

Staff was friendly and helpful!

I would stay in this hotel if I have the occasion...

If you are staying a few days and are fit enough to climb stairs (no Lift) try Les Degres de Notre Dame - great value and so close to Notre Dame - check Tripadvisor hotel tips and this website lesdegreshotel.monsite.wanadoo.fr/index.jhtml

I also have to vote for the St. Paul. I stayed there a year ago and adored it but it%26#39;s nice to hear from recent guests that it has maintained its charm. It also has an excellent location - close enough to be convenient to the heart of St. Germain area but on a quiet street. The staff was helpful and friendly and I very much enjoyed the welcome each day from M. Sputnik.

Personally, I find you can hardly compare **hotels to ***hotels.

In both categories you can find bargains, i.e. good values, but to compare them is just not possible.

Personally, I%26#39;d for for the Hotel de Fleurie***. It fills up quickly, so book asap, depending on your dates.

Sorry, I correct myself in the sense that all the hotels you mention are ***hotels.

Still, my vote goes to the Fleurie.
