I%26#39;ve read on hear that you must have a 4 digit pin to use an ATM in Paris. Is this really true?
My bank is Bank of America (formerly Fleet) and they will not allow you to have a pin that is less than 6 digits!
ACK!!!

I have Bank of America and it is a 4 digit pin
not sure why they are telling you 6
i used my card last year in Italy with 4 digit without problem and also order my pounds and euros from them
i kept the same pin from bank of boston to fleet to BoA
talk w/someone at your branch

auntieB,
My husband called BOA this morning. At the moment, we cannot have a 4 digit pin. After the conversion (from Fleet to BOA) on June 20th, we will be allowed to change to a 4 digit pin.
Whew!!! We are leaving on the 23rd!

TV what timming
i was just in my local branch today
getting pounds and euros
glad it all work out for you
have a great trip
is it late june you will be there

I remember others discussing this topic on another site. I believe the reason is that if you%26#39;re a former Fleet Bank customer you have a 6 digit PIN #. But if you were an original B of A customer your PIN # is 4 digits long.

Well yes the four digit pin code is requested to type in at the atm machines...

auntieB,
Yes, we will be there the last week of June. I am very excited about the trip...but not half as excited about it as my goddaughter, she%26#39;s about to burst! She is an honors student in Spanish and French and will be studying languages at college in the fall. She will be going to Brandeis. She was accepted at the American University in Paris, but chose to go to Brandeis instead...but she will probably be doing a year abroad, later.
My husband and I are taking her and her two older sisters to paris with us. It is her graduation gift. My goddaughter is 17 and her sisters are 19 and 21. It will be quite the interesting trip in many respects... %26lt;g%26gt;
When are you leaving? I hope you have a wonderful time!

WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I myself just got my degree and this trip is my present from my husband
We are leaving on the 23 and are going to London first
we will be in paris on the night of the 28
have the girls packed yet?
I bought new socks for my husband and he has already broken into them
I have been packing and re-packing to try and make the trip get here sooner
Very Hot today

It was soooooooo hot today... it was Sarah%26#39;s graduation party.
OMG...I thought I would melt. I%26#39;m no longer worried about hot weather for the trip, it could not be half as bad as today!
I%26#39;ve sent the girls an email every night with photos and information about paris... tonight%26#39;s topic is Htel des Invalides. The first email I sent them was about airline luggage restrictions!
I%26#39;ll be interested to see if they can limit themselves! Hahahaha!
I%26#39;ve given them basic information about what they will need to bring....or not bring as the case maybe... And their mom is going to oversee the packing! LOL
BTW...if you would like to see some incredibly beautiful photos of paris check out this website http://www.offrench.net/photos/
I had thought about going to London first...but we could not work it into our plans... Sarah has a dance recital on the 21st and we have to be back before the 4th...
I%26#39;m envious of you! :%26gt;
