Special Event

Dear Advisors,

We will be visiting Paris this mid Jun.

Kindly advise if there is any special event on going in Paris in mid Jun 2005? We noticed that many hotels are either fully booked or rate has increased.

This is just the busiest tourist period in Paris! Gay Pride and the Iron Maiden concert are both on 25th June, but I don%26#39;t think either of these would have affected the hotels very much!

Thanks for information. I just heard from a travel agent here that there is an aeronautique air show on going in paris which starts from 12 ~ 19 Jun. Not too sure if this has caused the overwhelming for hotels?

Yes the Bourget Air Show is the responsible for that.

It%26#39;s also the end of the Roland Garros tennis tournament this sunday so it can%26#39;t be this reason (it tends to provoke some traffic jams in hotels).

If you%26#39;re in Paris on June 21th, don%26#39;t miss the fete de la musique. Just walk around the city, no specific place to go!

Thanks for your suggestion unfortunately we have very short stay in Paris (leaving on 19 Jun), what a pity ;(
