eurostar

just took it from london to paris. some tips, they let you book in an hour before train time, so don%26#39;t bother arriving earlier. Book a seat that faces forward and try to get the combination of four facing each other, with a table in between. Get in the front of the train so you can get off first and to the taxis if that is your mode of transporation. We brought our own picnic lunch which worked out well.

have fun, it is painless to go this way

Hi Trainers

The Eurostar is a wonderfully efficient way to cross the channel.

I have a comment regarding the configurations of the seats that face each other on the Eurostar and other high speed trains in Europe for that matter.

I think you have less leg room in a seat facing another seat (especially with a stranger seated in opposite seat). Your leg room only extends to the middle of the table that is between you. If you are opposite someone with long legs it can be quite uncomfortable dodging their legs.

Whereas with seats facing all the one way you can extend your legs under the seat in front of you.

Have fun!
