How long to get from Latin to Boulogne?

I have a questions to those who are familiar with Paris transport system and traffic tendencies. I will need to get to Cirque Du Soleile at Rue de Yves-Kermen (between Rue Du Viex Pont De Sevres and Place Jules-Guesde. I will be going there from Boulevard St. Michel, between metro stations of St.Michel and Odeon. It looks that by metro I need to go 11 stations on the 10th and another 5 on the 9th to get to Billancourt station. At the same time route planner gives just the distance of 10 km and time of 15 minutes by car. The temptation is to take a taxi, but if I am making this journey around 6:30 - 7 pm, will there be traffic jams on the way? Are they likely to be so huge that it will be worth going by metro? Any advice from the locals?

Many thenks for your help.

FROM the ODEON Metro Station take the #10 Metro ligne (in the direction of Boulogne-Pont St. Cloud) to the MICHEL-ANGE-MOLITOR station (approx17 mins) and transfer to the #9 Metro ligne (in the direction of Pont de Sevres) to the end-of-the line at PONT de SEVRES (approx. 8 mins.. Since the average wait-time for trains on these lignes will be 2-to-5 minutes, the trip from ODEON to Pont de Sevres should be 30-35 minutes. LAST TRAIN of the day from PONT de SEVRES runs at 00:41 (12:41 AM).

I wouldn%26#39;t let the possibility of traffic be a factor one way or the other. It%26#39;s pretty much your choice of the moment. If its raining when you head out, you might consider a taxi the better choice, since you would have to walk from your accommodations, the couple/few blocks to the Metro and then the couple of blocks from Metro to theater. But you can make an informed decision to suit the circumstances when the time comes.
