Has anyone booked with best western before on their online website. Do you know whether the quoted rate includes tax?

Websites usually specify that the rate either includes tax or they specify a separate amount for the tax. At any rate the VAT is always included in the rate, but the %26#39;visitor tax%26#39; might be added, but that%26#39;s only around 1Euro per person or so, not a deal breaker. Most French hotels do not include breakfast, which can range from 6-12Euro per person, so factor that into your budget (sometimes you can beat that price by eating elsewhere - we prefer the convenience of breakfast in our room or in the hotel prior to leaving for the day).
