Safe runs in Paris

I%26#39;ll be staying at the Hotel Mugeut near Rue Cler, and was wondering if it%26#39;s safe to run the streets in the morning. Are there other runners out there? Other sites to recommend?

I don%26#39;t run, but here are a couple of links that look helpful (the 2nd one is a running path from Ecole Militaire, your neighborhood)...

The only place ot actively avoid running in the early mornig would be the Bois de Boulogne... but after 8 am it becomes a jogger%26#39;s paradise, with our new Prime Minister one of the regulars. The roads along the Seine are closed on Sun, which makes for a nice morning run and there are runner galore aroudn the Lux. Gardens.

This is the paris site for the Hash House Harriers. Visitors are always made welcome. You will need to explore the site to find the details of their next meetings, or a contact point.

Thanks for all the links. I thought the Paris HHH might be the best bet. Going there, I was reminded that male runners and female runners are completely different animals. EEW! Sounds like a Sunday AM Seine run is right up my alley.
