Best method from hotel to airport?

My wife and I are going on a grand European tour this summer that concludes in Paris. We%26#39;re staying near the Champs Elysses (I probably spelled that wrong) and will need to get to CDG to catch our flight back to the U.S. We%26#39;ll have a significant amount of luggage as we%26#39;ll be gone for three weeks, so I am not 100% certain the train is our best bet. Are there any car services anyone would recommend, or would a cab from the hotel be significantly cheaper? Thanks.

Last May my Mama and I took a mother and daughter trip of a life time, she balked, however I prebooked a driver to pick us up at the appointed time. He took us straight to our appartment we rented and on the day of our departure we were pick up at the appointed time. I think it was money well spent. During the week my mother agreed with me. We rented in the left bank and was walking distance to so many locations.

Have a great trip, take plenty of batteries for the camera and buy more film than what you think you will need because you will need it. Develope it when you get back to the states. Also, pack all the gifts you purchase in your carry ons.

Take a TAXI PARISIEN from the regular rank outside of Gare du Nord to your hotel and then ask your hotel to telephone the day before your deparrture reserve an airport shuttle service pick-up for your return to CDG. Among many such services--

BLUE VANS--

PARIS AIRPORT SHUTTLES--

Blue Van is painless, and the rates are good when booking online, but if you are leaving at a low traffic time, a cab may work out to be about the same.

Taxis from CDG to central areas around 45-50 Euros.

We booked Blue Van for pick-up at CDG but our plane was an hour late. We waited as per instructions but van never came and they only had a recorded message - so was disappointed by Blue Van. Ended-up catching a taxi knowing it was about 50 Euros. Return trip from hotel to CDG cost 29 Euros on Blue Van (2 people). It was on time and was great service. Would recommend them if they were consistent!

We stayed a block from Arc de Triomphe (on the Champs Elysee) and taxi fare from our hotel to CDG last Monday was 37 euros. After three weeks of travel, you likely will be weary and the taxi fare very much worth it.
