paris nord station

my husband and I will be in paris for one night. We will be taking the eurostar from london. My question is - Is the Nord Train station in the 15th district as we are staying at the Villa Montparnasse which is in the 14th district?? If someone can give me some info it would be greatly apreciated!!! Do we have to take a taxi to the hotel?? Can we walk?

Thank You!!!!

Hi... Gare du Nord is in the 10th district, on the Right Bank.

Villa Montparnasse is in the 14th district, south of the Cemetary Montparnasse (don%26#39;t be alarmed!).

From Gare du Nord, you will disembark from the Eurostar and find the hall in the train station for the Metro, line 4, direction: Porte d%26#39;Orleans. You should be able to buy metro tickets on board the Eurostar, possibly in the bar car (we were able to on the French Thalys train, so surely Eurostar will offer the same).

If you do have the tickets, then go straight to the metro and follow the blue signs for %26quot;Porte d%26#39;Orleans%26quot;. (if you need to stop and buy tickets look for the ticket windows -%26quot;billets%26quot;- do NOT let strangers try to sell you tickets or %26#39;help%26#39; you use a vending machine, they are cons.)

Ride the metro about 10 stops and get off at %26quot;Denfert Rochereau%26quot;. Go up the steps to the street - do you see a lion statue? Do you see Cafe le RendezVous on the corner? Cross the street to Cafe le RendezVous, then continue past it - at the next corner you%26#39;ll see Cafe Daguerre and a Monoprix - this is rue Daguerre. Turn right and go down this market street to the next street, rue Boulard. I believe you should then turn right and go to #2, your Villa.

If you havent paid for your hotel, just get one around the station and saves you a lot of hassle since you will be there only for one night. Terminus nord hotel is right in front of the station and you can do the hop on hop off from there to see Paris.
